Nu meer dan de helft van de wereldbevolking in steden woont, en daar 70 procent van s ‘werelds Co2 uitstoot wordt geproduceerd, kunt u zich inbeelden dat daar een grote impact gerealiseerd kan worden. Na een uitgebreide analyse is er per stad één maatschappelijk probleem vastgesteld waar de designers zich op konden inschrijven. Die kunt je later in dit blog terugvinden.<\/p>\n

Uitreiking<\/font><\/strong>
\nOp woensdag zes maart werden in Pakhuis de Zwijger de winnaars van de Clean Energy Challenge bekendgemaakt tijdens ‘Repower the City: how do designers around the world rethink energy?’. Onder begeleiding van Tracy Metz werd daar gesproken over welke rol designers kunnen spelen in de energietransitie van metropolen. Een internationale jury van gerenommeerde experts<\/a> op het gebied van klimaat, design en ondernemerschap maakte de 10 winnaars bekend die toegang krijgen tot de accelerator. Zij krijgen een intensief trainingstraject van vier maanden, ontwikkeld en georganiseerd door Social Enterprise NL.<\/p>\n

De Accelerator<\/strong><\/span>
\nHet progamma is ontwikkeld om de winnende innovaties klaar te stomen voor de markt en om hen in contact te brengen met investeerders. Gedurende vier maanden krijgen de deelnemers een aantal online trainingen en live workshops van professionele trainers die hen voorzien van handige tools en methodieken. In de vijf wereldsteden vinden verschillende netwerk events plaats en in mei komen alle deelnemers naar Amsterdam om in een intensieve week hun onderneming naar het volgende niveau te tillen. De winnaars sluiten in juni het progamma af door tijdens de demo day<\/i> hun innovatie te presenteren aan een publiek van potentiele partners en financiers. <\/p>\n
