De afgelopen weken werd er in het nieuws volop aandacht besteed aan Social Enterprise NL en de aangesloten sociaal ondernemers. Op donderdag 23 mei was Social Enterprise NL tot twee keer aan toe in het Journaal<\/a> én bij de NOS op 3<\/a>. Het is goed om te zien dat de sector meer aandacht krijgt.<\/p>\n

Social Enterprise NL oprichter Willemijn Verloop gaf aan dat er veel aan gelegen is de social enterprises op waarde te schatten, niet alleen bij andere ondernemers maar ook bij overheid, banken en op universiteiten. “Social entrepreneurs gebruiken hun ondernemers-skills om oplossingen vinden voor maatschappelijke problemen. En dat soort ondernemers hebben we hard nodig. “<\/p>\n

Voor het item ging de NOS langs bij social enterprises Roetz Bikes<\/a>, Taxi Electric <\/a>en er was speciale aandacht voor Granny’s Finest<\/a> bij NOS op 3. Daarnaast werd GreenFox<\/a> geïnterviewd voor Radio1<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Aanleiding voor al deze persaandacht is de eerste Social Enterprise Monitor <\/a>die Social Enterprise NL i.s.m. McKinsey uitbracht. De monitor is een eerste verkenning van de ontwikkeling van de sector. Een van de opvallendste uitkomsten is dat de werkgelegenheid bij social enterprises de afgelopen twee jaar met 25% is toegenomen.<\/p>\n
