If entrepreneurs want to help solve social issues, that is of course very welcome. But how to support this development in an appropriate way is not obvious to many (local) governments. For example, how do you organize administrative support to make this way of doing business important? Which other domains should you involve? What is possible in your procurement policy, with financing and with real estate? These and other questions are addressed in the Toolbox support impact business.

Toolbox development

During the first phase of the City Deal Impact Entrepreneurship this experimental approach was followed by the members of the Realtor Team working group with a mandate. The lessons learned in practice have been collected by Platform31 and KplusV in the downloadable below Toolbox support impact business: a modular, interactive workbook for policy staff who also want to work as brokers with mandate. The toolbox is full of tools and examples to create support for impact entrepreneurship on a strategic level, based on experiences of the municipalities of Amersfoort, Emmen, Groningen, Haarlem, Rotterdam and the province of Overijssel.
